Koi Pond is a part of the Water Lily Collection. I just love to watch the koi swimming back and forth in the pond. Water Lilies have long been associated with rebirth and all that is good, true and beautiful. This contemporary painting measures 12 x 16 x 1.5. It is painted with shades of blue, green, purple, orange and red. It has heavy texture and is painted with quality acrylic paints using a palette knife and brushes on a gallery wrap canvas. It was inspired by my love of impressionism and Monet's water lily series.
